A club outing to visit the regimental museums in Warwick last December

Here the group are at the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers (Royal Warwickshires) Museum at St. John’s House.  The museum houses traces the history, and houses medals and artefacts from the regiment since the 17th Century.  There is also memorabilia from Field Marshal Bernard Montgomery and Field Marshall Slim.   Admission is free, but donations are welcome.  There are two other military museums in Warwick: the Queens Own Hussars Museum located in the Lord Leycester Hospital, and the Warwickshire Yeomanry Museum (currently closed for refurbishment until August 2013).  All the museums are central and within walking distance of each other.  Please check opening times as not all the museums are open art the same time.
